The newly appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko made the first public statement after voting in the Verkhovna Rada, in which Parliament approved the new government. In a message published on her Facebook page on July 17, she emphasized the strategic priorities of the team and emphasized the need for decisive action in the conditions of war.
“It is a great honor for me to head the Ukrainian government today. Our government is going on self -sufficiency: military, economic and social, ”the Prime Minister said. She stressed that the purpose of the Cabinet is not the loud promises, but the real changes that should be tangible to every Ukrainian.
Sviridenko emphasized that time to make decisions is limited by the circumstances of the war, so the government should act quickly and decisively. Among the main tasks for the first half of a year, it called the quality of the Armed Forces, an increase in the internal production of weapons and the introduction of modern technologies in the military.
The Prime Minister also announced significant changes in economic policy. In particular, it is a comprehensive deregulation, stopping pressure on business, accelerating large privatization and expanding tools for supporting domestic entrepreneurship. According to the head of the government, business stimulation is one of the key factors on the path to economic independence.
Sviridenko paid special attention to public spending. She noted that the government had already started optimizing the state apparatus and takes a full audit of government expenditures in order to reduce them. "No political loyalty, only numbers and results," she stressed.
Thus, the new Cabinet of Ministers demonstrates an orientation to the pragmatic and effective approach to the management of the state, with focus on defense capability, stability of the economy and support of citizens in a full -scale war.
