Trump criticized the journalist for questions about Epstein during a press conference

During the Cabinet of Ministers' press conference, US President Donald Trump sharply responded to the New York Post journalist to investigate Jeffrey Epstein.

The question was renovated by the US Department of Justice and the FBI. It stated that there was no evidence that the financier Jeffrey Epstein was killed, as well as the lack of confirmation of the existence of a "list of influential customers", which he allegedly blacktained.

"Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy has been talked about for many years," Trump said, calling the media to focus on "real tragedies" such as Texas Flore, War in Ukraine and conflicts in the Middle East. When the reporter appealed to the Prosecutor General Pem Bondi, Trump interrupted him: "Do you want to waste time - you want to answer?" He asked, addressing Bondi, who was sitting next to the Secretary of State Marco Rubio. At the same time, the president continued to reproach the journalist for choosing a topic. "I cannot believe that you ask Epstein at a time when we have some of the greatest achievements and at the same time tragedy. It just seems to be a defilement," Trump said. Nevertheless, the Prosecutor General replied that she had never confirmed the existence of a "customer list" and explained why some of the case file had not been made public. According to her, these files contain child pornography that will never become public. "It was a child pornography loaded with this disgusting Jeffrey Epstein. It will never be published, will never see the world," Bondi said.

Although Trump had previously promised during the 2024 campaign to declare all the documents related to Epstein, Kennedy and King's affairs, his reaction to the reporter's question indicates a change in rhetoric.
