The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office stated that they had initiated criminal proceedings after probable abuse of office. At the same time, they emphasized that at this stage no person was suspected.
It is a proceeding, which includes Viceremier-Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stephanyshyn.
In the evening of July 16, prosecutors published an official message that emphasized the importance of accurate public information, given the public interest in the topic. According to the SAP, the proceedings concerns the actions of officials of the National Agency for the identification, search and management of assets received from corruption and other crimes, within the limits of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of office).
The prosecutor's office said that the materials of the investigative investigation, published by the Ukrainian Pravda, became the basis for the beginning of investigative actions.
Procedural actions are currently underway, and the details in the case are not disclosed.
