A 12-year-old schoolboy, the son of the former head of Ukroboronprom, became a Ukrainian record holder

Mikhail Gusev, the son of the former head of Ukroboronprom Yuri Gusev, set a record and became the youngest writer in the fantasy genre. The guy wrote the tale of the dystopia "Deravia: Quantum Jump".

The record was recorded by the head of the National Record of Ukraine Lana Vetrov. She noted that Gusev Jr. was able to formulate his fantasies in a literary work according to all the rules of the genre.

In the book, the young author tells about the path and finding himself as a separate dimension and the ancient village. According to Mikhail Gusev, everyone has their own "deravia", which is why this story will encourage young people to reflect and introspection.

Lana Vetrov noted that according to the rules of registration of a record of this type, literary value was confirmed by professional writers, journalists, writers and philologists. In particular, reviews to "Dervia: quantum jump" were written by a member of the Board of the Union of Writers of Ukraine Dmitry Drozdovsky, LB.ua chief Sonia Koshkina, journalist Dmitry Komarov, political scientist Mykola Davidyuk, military writer Martin Brest, patron and philosopher Igor Didkovsky.

We will remind, the previous record in the nomination "The youngest author of the published book in the genre of fantasy" was staged in 2019 by 16-year-old Kiev Svyatoslav Yemts, who wrote the story-fantasy "Egyptian legend of the corovhatep".
