The United States President Donald Trump has signed a new decree that allowed the Tiktok Chinese social network to continue working in the United States for another 75 days. This was reported by the American leader on his social network Truth Social.
According to Trump, his administration continues to work actively to reach an agreement on the conditions under which Tiktok will continue to operate in the United States. At the same time, he acknowledged that a document that should consolidate the agreement still requires serious revision, including legal details and permits.
"We have worked hard to save Tiktok. The document requires additional work, but we want the platform to remain in the US," Trump said.
In addition, the US president mentioned trade relations with China. He noted that the duties introduced by the US Administration play a key role in ensuring fair trade and national security.
"China is not very satisfied with duties, but it only confirms that they are the most powerful economic tool," Trump wrote.
According to him, the United States does not seek full blocking TikTok and, conversely, hope for further fair cooperation with the company and the Chinese side to conclude the final agreement.
Despite repeated statements about threats to national security through TikTok control by the Chinese company Bytedance, the Trump administration remains open to compromises, provided the interests of the US side are maintained.
