Ukrainian artist Andriy Danylko, known in the image of Verka Serdyuchka, commented on the resonance around the performance of songs in Russian. It is a criticism that was heard in his address after the speeches, as well as a statement of the linguistic ombudsman Taras Kremin, that the law does not provide for punishment for such content in his work.
The comment was announced by the artist during a concert in Odessa, where he ironically reacted to the information wave: "For our Ombudsmen: I was so" Sand "that I was forgotten about the war of Israel with Iran," Verka Serdyuchka said. Immediately afterwards, the artist presented a new song-"Kiev-Odesa", which was fully executed in Ukrainian.
Thus, Danylko not only responded to criticism, but also demonstrated his willingness to work in the Ukrainian -language space, while maintaining stage identity.
