A real car retro-hook-Mercury Grand Marquis 1978 appeared in Lviv. It is a full -size premium compartment with a strict design, 5.8 meters long and powerful V8 up to 7.5 liters.

The Mercury brand existed from 1938 to 2011 and belonged to the Ford concern, occupying a niche position between Ford and Lincoln. The first generation of Grand Marquis was released from 1975 to 1978. The length of the car is 5.8 m, weight is more than 2 tons. The design is distinguished by a long hood, a massive trunk and hidden headlamps. The salon could be large or leather. The standard complete set included air conditioning, cruise control, radio, steering. The car also had an electric drive of front seats - at that time a luxurious option.
Mercury Grand Marquis 1978 was equipped with three gasoline V8: 5.8 l - 145 hp, 6.6 l - 160 hp, 7.5 l - 205 hp. All models were equipped with a 3-speed "automatic".
