Spiegel reports . Official meetings of Biden with German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier are scheduled for October 18.
The short visit is expected to focus on political issues, such as the continued support of Ukraine's Western allies, as well as the war in the Middle East.
Earlier, Biden postponed his trip to Germany due to Hurricane Milton, which threatened Florida. A White House spokeswoman said the visits to Germany and Angola had been postponed due to the predicted path and strength of the hurricane.
