Joe Biden's policy towards Ukraine remains unchanged: the US president continues to actively support the Ukrainian people in the fight against Russian aggression. The US President's national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, emphasized that the Biden administration will make every effort to strengthen Ukraine's position both on the battlefield and in negotiations.
Before the end of Biden's term, the United States plans to use all resources allocated by Congress to provide military aid to Ukraine. According to Sullivan, President Biden has committed to ensuring that aid arrives on time and in full by Jan. 20, 2025, when his term ends. Biden also intends to convey to the new composition of Congress that the United States should not leave Ukraine alone. In his opinion, withdrawal from Ukraine will lead to great instability in Europe.
Sullivan noted that regardless of what happens on the battlefield or in negotiations, the threat to Ukraine will not disappear after the end of Biden's presidential term. Therefore, the US administration will continue to look for ways to ensure continued support for Ukraine even after he leaves office.
