The United States President Joe Biden has expressed concern about the consequences of war in Ukraine, saying that the country and its allies are waiting for a very difficult winter. In his address, Biden urged the international community to continue supporting Ukraine during this difficult period.
This was reported with reference to Baiden's statement in Berlin.
The US president made this statement on Friday, October 18, during a farewell visit to Germany.
He stressed that NATO allies should "provide our support ... until Ukraine has reached a fair and sustained peace."
Biden also condemned Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for a "brutal attack on Ukraine". According to the US President, NATO remains strong and more united than ever.
"We are waiting for a very heavy winter. We can't lower our hands," Biden added.
