Brazilian Federation again wants to see Acholotti at the head of the national team

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has restored interest in Carlo Ancholotti as a candidate for the head coach of the national team. CBF President Ednaldo Rodriguez seeks a 65-year-old Italian mentor to head the team at the 2026 World Cup, changing the current coach was equal to Junior.

According to the Brazilian edition of Globo, CBF representatives have already come into contact with Acholotti. The Italian specialist was positive, but made it clear that he was ready to negotiate only after the end of the club Championship of the World 20125, which will take place in the summer of next year.

The Brazil national team is currently qualifying at the 2026 World Cup, occupying fourth place in South American selection. In 14 matches, the team scored 21 points.

Earlier, Ancholotti repeatedly appeared among the potential contenders for the post of head coach of Brazil, but every time he remained in the Madrid Real. Whether his position will change after the club championship will become known in the coming months.
