BRICS was not created to oppose the USA - Modi

India Prime Minister Nardra Modi during a closed plenary session of the Brix summit in Kazan expressed important remarks about the organization's position in the international arena. According to Bloomberg, Modi stressed that Brix should not position himself as an alternative to existing global associations, despite the intentions of some of its members, including Russia and China, to expand the group to confront the US.

"We need to be careful so that this organization does not get the image of one that tries to replace global institutions," he said. Modi called on Brix members to work on reforming organizations such as the UN Security Council and multilateral creditors to improve their effectiveness.

India Prime Minister also stressed that Brix should set an example for the world, uniting in calls for the reforms of global organizations. "We must let the world understand that Brix is not an organization that separates, but an organization that works in the interests of mankind," he emphasized.

At the same time, fashion commented on the desire of other countries to join Brix, stating that India is ready to accept them as "partner countries" but not as full members.

The Brix Summit has become an important platform for discussing many international issues. It was reported that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a summary declaration of a summit that contains criticism of Western sanctions and calls for avoiding armed conflict.
