Ships of the United Kingdom and the United States have successfully repelled the Air attack from the Huti forces, the UK Minister of British Grant Shaps and the US Central Command reported.
According to Shapps, the Diamond ship together with US warships has successfully repelled the Husita's largest attack that is supported by the Iran in the Red Sea. Using Sea Viper missiles and small arms, Diamond destroyed a large number of drones that were released in its direction and commercial carriers. However, no victims or destruction for Diamond and his crew were recorded.
The US Central Command reported that the attack occurred in the evening of January 9, local time. Houses released anti-ship winged and ballistic missiles, as well as 18 drones-Kamikadze from the Yamen regions under their control, in the direction of the southern district of the Red Sea, where there were "dozens of merchant vessels".
On January 4, the US and 11 other countries have released Huti warnings, demanding stopping attacks on vessels and avoiding "consequences". Only a few hours thereafter, a naval drone was launched, which approached a few miles to the US Navy and commercial ships before exploding.
