There is not enough money for the Czech initiative to supply shells: some of the weapons may not be received by the end of the year.

According to Estonia's Defense Minister Hanno Petus, although a number of countries have already contributed, money is still not enough. In addition, the proposed shells require check, so some of them may not reach the front by the end of the year.
According to the latest information given by Irozhlas, about 1.5 million shells for Ukraine were found - twice as expected, but the market price of weapons has also doubled due to high demand.
The publication writes that Prague has yet received funds from the Allies to purchase the first 300,000 ammunition, another 500,000 in development. The first deliveries to Ukraine should take place no later than June.
We will remind, yesterday the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Fiala stated that his country has concluded contracts for delivery of 180 thousand shells and now works on contracting another 300 thousand.
