Czech Minister Vit Rakushan stated that after the armistice or the end of the conflict, the temporary protection period for refugees will end the next day, and the new refugees will not be able to obtain this status. This also applies to men who want to join their families already in the country: they should undergo a standard procedure for foreigners.

The Czech Republic also plans to introduce a return centers to facilitate the return of refugees to Ukraine, in particular in the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. The centers will provide jobs and conditions for return, as well as help those who want to stay, organize moving to other countries.

According to Rakusan, the Czech Republic, together with Poland, prepares documents for the EU to complete these processes by the end of June this year. It is noted that more than 397 thousand Ukrainian refugees are currently in the Czech Republic, and although half of them want to stay, the country is ready to cope with this situation.
