World powerlifting champion Oleksandr Bilokon died in the war in Ukraine

Ukrainian sport has lost one of its strongest representatives-the 32-year-old World and Europe in Alexander Bilokon's Evherlifting. A well -known athlete has died in the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for several years.

Vice president of the Federation of Greco-Roman struggle of Ukraine Vadim Kisil reported about the tragic event. He recalled that Alexander Bilokon was recognized as one of the strongest people in the country. In 2017, in the center of Odessa, he set a record of Ukraine to move a tractor with a trailer filled with people, and in 2020 received the title of master of sports with Bogatyr Games.

Alexander Bilokon was mobilized in March 2023, but the fate and circumstances of his death in the war are not reported. His death was another loss for the Ukrainian sports world .

After the start of a full -scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than two thousand professional Ukrainian athletes have decided to join their country.
