On March 5, intelligence of the United Kingdom stated that Russia did not send its latest Armata tanks to the war in Ukraine.
Armata tanks are considered to be one of the most modern in the world and can be a real threat to any enemy. However, according to UK intelligence, Russia has not decided to use these tanks in a conflict in Ukraine.
The reasons for this decision of Russia remain the subject of broad discussions. Some of the experts believe that this may be related to technical problems or restrictions on the ability to send enough tanks to conduct a successful operation.
Other political analysts believe that it can be a strategic decision of Russia aimed at avoiding further escalation of conflict and maintaining status quo. Armata's sending can cause international reactions and sanctions against Russia, which may exacerbate its international isolation.
“To date, it can be said that the T-14 T-14 T-14 Tank has not received Ukraine. This is very likely caused by potential reputational damage due to the loss of "prestigious" machine in battle and the requirement to produce more major combat tanks, which can be satisfied only with other versions, ”the message reads.
In intelligence, it was mentioned that on March 4, the head of the Russian defense corporation "Rostekh" Serhiy Chemezov stated that the most modern Russian tank T-14 "Armat" was arrived of Russian troops, but will not be used in Ukraine because of high cost, which limits mass production of these tanks.
Armata's Tank made his debut on Victory Day in 2015, becoming a rehearsal. The 1st Guards Tank Army had to get Armata tank in 2021, but it is unlikely to be supplied to any units to the front. These tanks were observed during the exercises in southern Russia in 2022, and the Kremlin information agencies stated that they will be used in Ukraine, ”the intelligence report reads.
