The terms of financing of Ukraine for 50 billion euros should be approved by the European Parliament at the session on February 26-29, the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko said.
Then the conditions of Ukraine Facility will be taken into account in the plan, which will be approved by the Government of Ukraine and the European Commission. There will be requirements to carry out structural reforms in the public sector, economy, business climate and entrepreneurship.
Money within the program will be allocated quarterly, provided certain criteria are fulfilled.
Ukraine expects to receive the first payment of 4.5 billion euros in March (for three months, given that the budget is not all - part for other projects).
Of the 50 billion euros during 2024-2027, 39 billion will be sent to the state budget to strengthen macro-financial stability.
8 billion is an investment tool to cover risks in priority sectors. Investors, EIB, and other international institutions will be able to receive funding within this tool.
3 billion will go for technical support, including interest on loans under Ukraine Facility.
