Ukraine is directing all efforts to end the war with Russia by 2024, however, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, notes that this task depends not only on internal factors, but also on the country's partners.
In his speech on the national telethon, Danilov emphasized the importance of support from Western allies. He noted that some Western partners continue to delay deliveries of modern Western weapons, possibly to avoid irritating Vladimir Putin.
"You can't annoy this abomination with anything, she has a headache. It is a waste of time to make some far-sighted conclusions, some diplomatic curtseys in relation to Russia. We need a victory, and it will definitely come," Danilov noted.
The NSDC secretary also emphasized the changing nature of war, noting that Ukraine initially had a limited arsenal of Western weapons, but now faces new challenges and threats, such as technology and drone warfare.
