Frosts and snowfall are expected in Ukraine from February 17 to February 21. Meteorologists warn of temperature drop, which can reach -16-18 degrees at night, and will remain below zero in the daytime. Snowfalls will pierce through the central and eastern regions, subsequently cover the West of Ukraine, and by the end of the week snow is expected to the south.
As Natalka Didenko said, the temperature at the beginning of the week will fluctuate from -2 to -7 degrees in the afternoon, and in the south it will be warmer by 2-5 degrees. In Kiev, the temperature will be up to -2-7 degrees, no precipitation is expected, but problems with slippery roads are possible. Particular attention should be paid to the ice that will be dangerous on the roads in some areas. According to the Ukrhydromet Center, snow is expected on February 17 in the northern, eastern and central regions, and on February 19, snow will cover the north and west.
Weather forecast for the coming days: February 17: temperature from -4 to -6 degrees, snow in Cherkasy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk regions. February 18: at night -12 to -14, in the afternoon from -2 to -4 degrees, without precipitation. February 19: at night -8 to -10, in the afternoon from -2 to -4 degrees, snow at night in the west and south. February 20: at night -7 to -9, in the afternoon from -1 to -3 degrees, snow in the center, east and south. February 21: at night -9 to -11, in the afternoon from -2 to -4 degrees, snow in the Zaporozhye region and Crimea.
