In the evening, which took place on Friday, February 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the arrival of two more powerful air defense systems that can knock down any air targets. These systems will be used to protect regions.
The President stressed that the receipt of these two new systems is the main event today, and systematic work was carried out at all levels of government. The details of these systems remain confidential, but Zelensky confidently stated that they were able to knock down any air targets.
The President has also determined that the number of air defense systems is currently insufficient to defend Ukraine, but emphasized that work on this issue is ongoing daily. In the coming weeks, new support packages for Ukraine are planned to be deployed and international work is being carried out on this issue.
