Documentary films about the war in Ukraine were included in the Oscar shortlist

The Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences announced the shortlists for Oscar 2025, and two documentaries about the war in Ukraine came to them. The porcelain war and once in Ukraine were given international recognition and attracted the attention of the cinematic community.

The short documentary "Once in Ukraine" (Once A Time in Ukraine) directed by Betsy West was a shortlist in the nomination "Best Documentary Short Film".
