Men of conscript age in Ukraine have the right to cross the state border both in business and for vacation. At the same time, there are exceptions for certain categories of civil servants.
This was reported by a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko on the air of the TV channel "Mi-Ukraine".
According to him, this applies to those citizens who have officially designed armor from mobilization. However, not all booked persons have the same departure rights. The SSSU spokesman specified that some civil servants who hold certain positions have no right to leave Ukraine for rest. This is determined by paragraph 2.14 of the Rules for crossing the state border, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 57. For other booked citizens who do not hold critical positions, traveling abroad during leave is possible. However, the accompanying documents should clearly state that the structure by which the reservation is fixed allows to spend a vacation outside Ukraine.
We will remind, since 2024 in Ukraine there are new rules for crossing the state border for men of conscript age, and the issue of mobilization and booking remains one of the key in the context of martial law.
