Duda stated that the peace agreement was needed from both parties

Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed his opinion on future peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, noting that in order to reach the agreement, both parties should be prepared for compromises. In his interview, Euronews emphasized that the peace agreement would probably demand a concern on both sides, and each of them will be forced to yield to some of its requirements.

"It should be a compromise. I mean that in fact, this peace, in my opinion, should be the fact that none of the parties will be able to say that it has won this war, because each party in some sense will have to make concessions," Duda said, noting Ukraine.

The Polish President also noted that the delay of war brings serious losses for both Ukraine and Russia. According to him, the completion of the conflict requires considerable effort on both sides. Duda emphasized that the key role in the cessation of hostilities can play, because, in his opinion, only Washington's pressure can help reach peace.

"Only US pressure can really put an end to this war and help establish peace that will not be comfortable for either side," the Polish President said.

Duda also noted that Ukraine can be forced to some concessions, although it is difficult to predict specific details. He emphasized that in the future the peace process may require from Kiev to make complex decisions, but did not specify what aspects Ukraine can compromise.

Presidents and political leaders around the world continue to monitor the situation in Ukraine, as peace talks can be the key to the end of a conflict that has been going on for more than a year. The role of the United States in this process remains important because Washington has a significant impact on international policy and can help create conditions for peaceful settlement.
