David Eyer's new film, director of Training Day and Beekeeper, is already on the big screens of Ukraine. Aworking Man is another project with Jason Statem in the lead role. This time, a veteran of the genre, Sylvester Stallone, who acted as a screenwriter and producer of the tape, joined the team.
The protagonist, Levon Cade, former British Marines who left his stormy past behind and tries to live a peaceful life. It works on construction and lives in a car without having clear prospects. But peace does not last long: the daughter of the owners of the company where Levon works, Russian mafia is stolen into sexual slavery. It becomes a point of non -return, and the hero of the stetma again takes on the old one. Viewers are promised everything that they love films with the participation of the British actor: lightning fights, spectacular chase and merciless punishment of criminals. "Prof" is a typical steatma fighter, reminiscent of his previous hits like beekeeper and carrier. The protagonist is traditionally silent, but deadly, and the plot does not claim to be deep drama - here the main entertainment and dynamics.
The film is already compared to the beekeeper, although it has less epic, and the plot is more chamber. However, the fans of the genre will definitely remain satisfied: there are not many of the nail fighters in the cinema, and the "pro" is such - without unnecessary reflections, but with a lot of action.
