Writer George Martin shared his work on three new animated series that will unfold in the Games of the Thrones. At present, none of the projects began production, but the author expressed optimism on their future implementation.
"We have our own animated stories in the Universe 'Songs of the Ice and Flame'. At the moment, none of these projections has received green light, but I believe that we are on the way to the next stage in the development of several of them," the writer said in his blog.
Martin said that the discussion of these ideas began several years ago, and at first there were four projects, but over time two of them were postponed indefinitely.
In addition, the author revealed that the previously announced game series "Nine Travels" or "Sea Snake" will also be animated. Changing plans occurred due to high costs of sea scenes.
"Budget restrictions are likely to make a living version too costly, as half of the plot unfolds at sea, and every week it would be necessary to organize different ports ... This is the whole world. Animation gives us more opportunities to implement all this. Thus, now we have three animation."
One of these series will be the Dragon House and will tell the history of Corlis Velarion's maritime adventures, Lord one of the oldest and richest homes.
