Estonia has forever closed the borders for Lukashenko

Estonia decided to make an indefinite sanctions against Belarus, which were imposed in 2020 in response to the suppression of protests after the presidential election. About it reports Estonian media Err.

From now on, the formal head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is forever forbidden to enter the territory of Estonia. Along with him, 272 citizens of Belarus - high -ranking officials, judges, security forces and propagandists of the regime - were included in the list.

The decision was initiated by Estonia Minister Margus Tsakhkn. He stressed that no positive changes in Belarus occurred within almost five years after the imposition of sanctions, and the situation is only worsening.

"Minsk continues to support the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The repression has not stopped, so we cannot afford to abolish the pressure. Sanctions must act without restriction in time," Tsakhkna said.

Lukashenko's spokeswoman Natalia Aismont has already reacted to the sanction. She ironically conveyed his "reaction": "Unfortunately, he was not in Estonia ... And after the imposition of sanctions I think - or survive?"
