Sources in diplomatic circles report that the Israeli side practically does not help embassies on evacuation.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Israel on the morning of Tuesday, October 17, evacuated 436 citizens of Ukraine.
The Embassy reminded that on October 14, an evacuation flight was made from Tel Aviv to Bucharest (Romania) with 207 citizens of Ukraine. On the morning of October 16, a second evacuation flight was organized with 155 citizens to Kluzh (Romania), and in the evening - a third flight with 74 citizens to Bucharest.
The evacuation of citizens of different countries continues with the help of special charter flights and commercial airlines.
The source of the agency's diplomatic circles notes that "there is a disorganization and lack of a centralized approach of the Israeli side to the requests of foreign dipses in assisting the organization of evacuation flights."
"According to the results of communication with representatives of the embassies in Israel, each country independently resolves the issue of evacuation flights without the real assistance of the Israeli side," the agency's interlocutor emphasized.
In this regard, "evacuation is given to diplomats with great difficulty and, basically, requires minimal expenses from citizens."
"Citizens of all states make pay for evacuation at cost from their own expense," the interlocutor summarized.
