FIFA has decided that the Brazilian football club of Corinthians should pay Shakhtar Ukrainian club a debt of one million euros. This is due to the non -payment of rent for the central midfielder Macon. About it reports Meu Timao.
According to FIFA, Corinthian did not have time to pay with the miner within the prescribed period. The club has 45 days to fulfill financial obligations. In case of failure to comply with this condition, the club is threatened with a transfer ban, which will forbid it with players' transfer. These sanctions apply to the rent for 2023 and 2024.
In addition to the principal, FIFA set an annual interest of 10% for each overdue payment. The penalties are also provided: 75 thousand euros and $ 45,000 for the organization.
Macon's lease agreement is valid until December 31, 2025. The midfielder joined the Corinthian after the start of a full -scale war in Ukraine.
