Finland refused to extradite a Nazi criminal to Ukraine

The Finnish Supreme Court denied Ukraine in the issuance of Yan Petrovsky, one of the founders of the neo -Nazi group of Rusich DSRG, suspected of torturing Ukrainians. The court decided that Ukrainian prison could violate its rights and apply torture.

Representatives of Finland's Themis believe that the Ukrainian prison is violated justice and the practice of torture can be used. Such a conclusion causes serious indignation of the Ukrainian side, which views this decision as an unacceptable compromise in the fight against crime and safety.

Moreover, the court decided that Petrovsky's retention for extradition was pointless and urged to release him. This decision causes serious excitement, as the suspect may avoid responsibility for war crimes.

Petrovsky, a former resident of Norway, was deported to Russia in 2016 and participated in hostilities in Syria on the side of the far -right group. The Ukrainian authorities suspect him of committing war crimes, including the killings of prisoners of war, similar to those that occurred on April 11, 2023 with the participation of Rusich DSRG.

Finland's refusal has caused indignation and disappointment in Ukrainian society, and now the issue of responsibility for the crimes committed will be discussed at the international level.
