Modern phobias: the four most widespread fears in the life of a modern person are defined

Modern life, filled with events and pace, leads to the emergence of new experiences and fears, which often turn into phobias because of the stress and dangers that surround us. Psychotherapist Larisa Rossol points out that these new fears often arise without a specific threat to life or health, and most often they arise because of the fear of missing important information or event.

Experts believe that pathological fears have their roots in the subconscious, and the starting mechanism is the negative experience of the past, which led to real or imaginary consequences. In particular, residents of metropolitan areas where the stresses are highest, prone to the development of phobias due to increased levels of anxiety and chronic fatigue.

One of the common phobias is nomophobia, fear of staying without a mobile phone. More than half of young people and a quarter of older people suffer from this phobia because of fear of missing an important call or message.

Another widespread phobia is antefamphobia, the fear of silence, which occurs when the noisy environment is stopped. This fear can cause serious discomfort and requires correction from specialists.

Agmenhophobia - the fear of the queue, is another pathology that occurs because of the feeling that the next turn is moving faster. This can lead to nervous breakdown and aggressive behavior.

Alloxaphobia - the fear of condemnation and the volatile orientation on the opinion of others can lead to the abandonment of their own desires and interests. Experts advise to pay attention to their own needs and desires, and if necessary to seek help from specialists to solve the problem.

All these phobias can lead to the development of depressive states, so it is important to recognize them in a timely manner and seek the help of specialists.
