According to the results of the greatest study of the status and plans of Ukrainian FOPs, conducted by the recent, nearly 32,000 private entrepreneurs took part in the survey. The results have shown that much of the respondents plans to close their business.
Among those surveyed, they work most in retail trade (24.6%) and IT sphere (21%). 27% of entrepreneurs (8621 persons) plan to stop their activities in the near future. Of these, 7% (2297 people) planned closing this year, and 20% (6324 entrepreneur) - next year.
The main reason for closing businesses is Ukrainian FOPs. 62% of respondents indicated this as the main reason. Another 19% of entrepreneurs reported that they are terminated because of the difficulties that their business faces.
Difficulties in closing business are also related to Russian cyberattacks for state registers that have significantly complicated or even made it impossible to close the enterprise.
The introduction of a military gathering for FOPs has further aggravated the situation. Since the introduction of this fee, more than 24,000 businesses have been closed, while only 10 thousand have opened, which is twice less. A year ago, the situation was much better - every four new FOPs had one closed.
