Forbes reveals the secrets of the success of billionaires in the world under the age of 30

A study conducted by Forbes revealed that there are 15 billionaires under 30 years of age in the world, but none of them reached this status on their own, but inherited.

The leader among the youngest billionaires in the world was the 19-year-old Libya Foigt, a college student, who owns $ 1.1 billion, inherited through a share in the manufacturer of WEG electrical equipment based on her deceased grandfather. Her older sister, 26-year-old Dora Fogt de Assis, also included a list of young billionaires.

The richest heirs of this year were the Irish Brothers of the city, 25 and 27, whose wealth is estimated at $ 4.9 billion for each. They inherited the shares after their father's death in 2022.

This is a kind of first wave of the "great transfer of wealth" from the older generation to the younger in the background of aging population around the world. Today, the average billionaire age is 66 years, and the oldest person in the forbes billionaire rating is 102 years.

In 2024, the number of billionaires in the world broke a record, reaching a 2781 mark. This is 141 more than last year, and 26 more than in 2021. The total cost of their wealth is estimated at $ 14.2 trillion.

According to Forbes, the richest people in the world are the French businessman Bernard Arno and his family, who have a $ 195 billion fortune, thanks to business in the LVMH fashion industry.

Five Ukrainians remain in the global rating of billionaires forbes: Rinat Akhmetov, Viktor Pinchuk, Vadim Novinsky, Konstantin Zhevago and Gennady Bogolyubov.

Turkish brothers Selchuk and Khaluk Bayraktars, owners of Baykar Defense, first got into the annual Forbes billionaire ranking.
