Volodymyr Konev's forward of the national team of Ukraine will be able to help the national team in the final matches of the Eurobasket-2025 qualification. The Dnieper basketball player resolved the issue with military accounting data after visiting the territorial centers of acquisition and social support and received permission to cross the border.
Previously, the athlete was unable to leave Ukraine because of the mismatch of military documents. In this regard, he was sent to the CCC, where the papers were required. The Federation of Basketball of Ukraine reported that after resolving all the issues Konev will join the national team on February 19.
“On February 19, the National Team will join the experienced forward Vladimir Konev, who had problems with the crossing of the border of Ukraine the day before, which is why he did not arrive at the team camp at the planned time. Konev brought into line his military accounting data in the Tax Code and JV, after which he was able to cross the state border in accordance with the current legislation, ”the FBU said in the official statement.
With the resolution of administrative issues, the forward will be able to assist the team in decisive skills matches that are crucial for entering the Eurobasket-2025.
