France has completed the preparation of the first Ukrainian brigade, which has been trained and received full equipment within the EU Military Educational Mission for Ukraine. Anna Kyivska's name is the first unit to receive such support from France. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Umerov said that the French partners not only provided high -quality all -military and specialized training for the Ukrainian military, but also provided modern equipment and weapons, including APCs, self -propelled artillery installations, trucks and other necessary equipment.
Umerov also expressed gratitude to the French people for their support and called on other international partners an example from France, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability.
