The Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny launches a new counter -offensive, collecting resources for future operations in 2024. According to the German edition of Welt, a lot of armored vehicles that Ukraine promised to Ukraine remains unused, including Leopard 1 tanks, of which only 30 units out of 200 have received Ukraine.
German expert Nico Lange believes that Ukraine is betting on the depletion of Russian troops, moving to the mobile war. This is marked by a change in the strategy from maintaining positions, as in Bakhmut, to a slowdown strategy and the task of loss of the enemy.
The list of weapons that Ukraine has transmitted to the US includes Helicopters Black Hawk and Apache, F-16 and F-18 fighters, long-range missile systems, Abrams tanks, drones and ammunition. According to Welt, Ukraine can plan a counter -offensive in 2024, perhaps with a bridgehead in the Kherson region.
The earlier summer counter -offensive is delayed due to lack of sufficient aviation support, and Zaluzhny chose the strategy of attacks in small infantry groups. According to expert Lnge, such a step was reasonable, ensuring the preservation of forces, weapons and time winning.
The situation on the front remains tense, and Ukrainian troops demonstrate active defense and are attacking in some areas, in particular, around Bakhmut and in the Zaporozhye region.
It is noted that Ukraine is likely to prepare for a new stage of conflict, resorting to mobile tactics and using advanced equipment, which can provide effective support for troops in different areas.
