The chairman of the occupation administration of the Russian Federation on the temporarily captured Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, was decided to condemn in absentia up to 15 years in prison, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reports. This decision concerns the disclosure of the activity of the organizer of betrayal, who worked for the enemy and followed the instructions of Moscow.
Meetings were held:
- The head of the administration is condemned to 15 years in prison if it is detained.
- It is deprived of the right to occupy positions in the authorities and local self -government for 15 years, with confiscation of property.
Pushilin's accusations are charged with:
- Execution of Moscow's instructions to promote armed aggression and spread the Kremlin regime in eastern Ukraine.
- Ensuring the transfer of hostile troops to the Eastern Front through different paths and railways.
- Organization of pseudo -referendum on the "accession" of Donetsk to Russia.
- Participation in the signing of the "Treaty on Entry" of the region into Russia.
Details of the case: the investigation found that Pushilin performed a number of actions aimed at supporting armed aggression and expanding Russia's influence in the territory of East of Ukraine. In addition, he organized and supported pseudo -referendums and participated in the signing of documents aimed at "entering" the temporarily occupied region into the Russian Federation.
The SBU noted that the court had made a decision on the basis of the evidence collected and charged Pushilin several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including the commission of deliberate actions in order to change the boundaries of the territory and the state border of Ukraine, the organization of an illegal referendum and others. The court's decision provides for the confiscation of property properly Pushilin.
