Ukrainians will face a complex system of power outages on December 2. According to Ukrenergo, light shutdowns continue due to infrastructure damage during Russia's rocket strike on November 28. Repair work is ongoing, but the energy system remains in a vulnerable state.
According to the updated schedules, the shutdowns are scheduled from 6:00 to 22:00. In some territories, one and two queues will be alternated. The duration of interruptions depends on the consumer group. One stage: light will not be three times a day - from 7:00 to 8:00, from 10:00 to 11:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00 (total up to four hours). Two queues: shutdowns are scheduled twice - from 8:00 to 10:00 and from 11:00 to 19:00 (total up to eight hours). Kyiv and Kyiv region: the duration of shutdowns varies from three to nine hours depending on the consumer group. For example, in the capital of Group 1 and 6 will be left without light for eight hours, and groups 3 and 4 - four. Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region: residents will be left without light for three to eight hours. The greatest restriction is for groups 1 and 5 (up to eight hours). Odesa and Odesa region: the duration of shutdowns also depends on the group. For group 1, the break is eight hours, and for group 2 - three.
Damage to the energy infrastructure as a result of the impact of the Russian Federation on November 28 created significant problems. Russian rockets with cassette warheads left explosive elements on the territory of the objects. Because of this, repairmen can only start work after the sappers are completed. Energy expert Oleksandr Kharchenko explained that this leads to delay in recovery. In spite of the difficulty, energy continues to repair equipment to return stable power supply.
