Greece decided to grant special permits to visiting 10 Greek islands without the need to obtain Schengen visas.
Prime Minister of Greece, Kiriakos Michotakis, announced this decision within the exception from the Schengen regime.
It is stated that this initiative applies to such Aegean islands as Lemnos, Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Leros, Calimon, Kos, Rhodes, Sima and Casteurisone.
Turkish citizens will be able to stay on these islands for up to seven days with the special permits that Greece will grant.
