In the Armenian information space, fake information about the alleged involvement of Ukrainian intelligence in provoking a new military conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia is spread. About it reports the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU).
The enemy uses a fake report allegedly addressed to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havrylyuk. The document contains gross mistakes such as writing "Yvan" instead of "Ivan", as well as incorrect use of terminology ("SDR" instead of "EDRPOU"). This testifies to the inconsistency of the standards of the official documents of Ukraine. Propagandists are trying to convince that Kiev is interested in the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as it will distract Russia into the "second front". Gur IU emphasizes that the main purpose of this operation is to discredit Ukraine and the deterioration of Kyiv's relations with Baku and Yerevan. Such actions are advantageous primarily to Russia, which tries to weaken the support of Ukraine by international partners and create new stress points in the region.
Ukraine has nothing to do with disseminated misinformation. Russian IPSOs are aimed at igniting conflicts and split of allies, so it is critical to check the sources of information and not to be provoked.
