The CES 2025 exhibition in Las Vegas presented a new innovative product-the Hagamosphere drone, which became the winner of the prestigious CES Innovation Award 2025. This unique spherical drone attracts attention due to its engineering and ability to work in the air and on the ground.
Hagamosphere was recognized for its unique design: there are eight propellers installed on the cubic frame inside the spherical body. Thanks to the patented algorithm, this drone can effectively control its rotation and maintain balance while driving. This allows the drone to carry out maneuvers in all directions - forward, back, left and right - without inclination. The innovative approach to balancing and managing traffic makes Hagamosphere extremely stable and maneuverable in flight. The peculiarity of this drone is also spherical protection, which provides additional functionality: Hagamosphere can roll on the surface, moving not only in the air but also on the ground. This ability makes it extremely versatile, especially in conditions where standard drones cannot work. The drone was designed through the joint efforts of industrial and academic circles of Japan. The well -known chemical manufacturer of Dic Corporation has cooperated with the Tokushima Institute, as well as with HISIDA R&D CO. The result of this cooperation was not only a functional and innovative product, but also a significant improvement in the use of computer design to model drone flight.
Hagamosphere has already been highly appreciated for its design and engineering solutions, which confirms its CES Innovation Award 2025.
