With the onset of martial law in Ukraine, a mechanism for booking from mobilization for certain categories of the population was introduced to ensure the stable work of critical spheres of life of the country. The somewhat amended booking rules came into force by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 36 of January 14, 2025, which determines who has the right to remain outside the mobilization during a military conflict.
According to the latest amendments, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to expand the list of employees entitled to booking. In particular, all health care workers who work at the main place of work in state and municipal health care institutions, as well as in other medical institutions engaged in important functions, have been guaranteed not to be mobilized.
We are talking about specialists such as: doctors and healthcare professionals in state and communal ownership health care facilities; employees of public health; specialists of institutions carrying out forensic and forensic psychiatric examination; Healthcare professionals in blood centers.
Prosecutors of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office are also subject to reservation category, which is an important step to maintain the functioning of justice in the country. Another important addition to the booking list applies to the Red Cross Society and other non -governmental organizations that implement humanitarian projects with the support of international partners. However, it should be noted that the number of conscripts in these organizations should not exceed 50% of the total number of employees of the organization.
These changes are important for Ukraine during martial law, as they provide the necessary support in key areas such as health, justice and humanitarian aid. Reservation from mobilization for doctors, prosecutors and employees of international organizations allows to maintain the functionality of important institutions that provide order, health of citizens and assistance to victims of war.
