Huawei launched a 10G network that loads movies in seconds

Huawei, in conjunction with China Unicom operator, has taken a big step in the field of telecommunications, launching the world's first 10G broadband network. This breakthrough became a reality in the Xunhan district of Chinese Province Hebei, where they tested the latest equipment.

According to Mydrivers resource, the new network is built on the basis of an optical technology of 50G Pon, which allows to provide unprecedented bandwidth up to 10 gigabits per second. During the test tests, the load speed reached an incredible 9834 Mbps, and the network delay was only 3 milliseconds - this is a real breakthrough in the world of broadband compounds. During the field tests, in the house of a regular user, they checked how new technology works. The results were impressed: the real speed of downloading movies and other large files has become several times higher. Yes, the 4K movie downloads earlier took a few minutes, and now this process lasts only a few seconds. It is also especially striking the possibility of simultaneous use of several smart devices without delay-the network remained stable, which made it comfortable watching 8K videos, playing cyber-sports games with cloud services and managing the smart home. One of the users shared the experience: "A movie in 8K, about 90 GB, loaded in just 72 seconds. This is amazing, because it would take about 12 minutes on a normal gigabit connection."

Launching this network is an important step towards telecommunications and provides new opportunities for users around the world. Such technologies are expected to open the way to a faster Internet that will affect different industries, from cyber transport to entertainment services and "smart" technologies for home.
