On June 13, the Yemeni Hutivit attacked a civilian vessel, releasing two anti -ship winged missiles on the Ukrainian Verbena vessel in the Gulf of Aden. This ship is operated by the Polish carrier.
It is reported by the central command of the US Armed Forces.
"The Iranian Hutivits launched two anti -ship winged missiles in the Gulf of Aden. Both missiles hit the Ukrainian vessel for Verbena, operated by the Polish carrier under the flag of Palau," the statement said.
Verbena crew reported damage and fire on board.
According to the command, one sailor was injured, he was evacuated by aircraft from the US cruiser USS Philippine SEA. The victim was taken to a nearby warship, where he was provided with medical care.
Recently, the ship was moved in Malaysia and went to Italy with a load of wooden building materials.
