On November 14, 2023, a new Ineos Grenadier 2023 was seen in Kyiv, which became the first SUV of the British brand recorded in Ukraine. The car pictures were posted on the TopCars_UA Instagram account.
Ineos Grenadier impresses with its classic Land Rover Defender, but at the same time has modern technical characteristics. The founder of the company, Sir Jim Redcliflif, who is a supporter of old Land Rover, created Ineos Grenadier as a modern variation on the topic of classic Defender after failed to obtain a license for its production.
Although Land Rover sued the IneOS for copyright infringement, the company failed to win the case.
Ineos Grenadier has a frame structure and strikes an original aviation style interior. The car is equipped with engines from BMW-286-horsepower gasoline and 249-horsepower. It is also equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a full-speed drive.
Ineos Grenadier, although Polish numbers can be brought for customs clearance in Ukraine, because it is not officially presented here. It is also possible that the owner of the car is a citizen of Poland who visited Kyiv.
This case has become an important event for supporters of the automotive industry in Ukraine, since Ineos Grenadier is determined by its elegance and combination of classical design with modern technologies.
