The iPhone became slow? That's how energy saving mode can slow it down

Sometimes even new iPhones do not work as quickly as expected, even after deleting files. This can cause misunderstanding by users, but experts have found one of the main reasons for such slow work - this is the mode of low power consumption.

The low power mode operates, limiting several background processes and, importantly, changing the work of the device. If the iPhone usually uses both efficient and productive cores of the chip to perform tasks, then only energy efficient nuclei are used in this mode. This can significantly reduce the load on the system and extend the time without recharging, but of course, it reduces the speed of operations. When the low power mode is turned on, the smartphone's performance is significantly reduced. For example, when testing the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is equipped with A18 PRO chip, it was seen that the performance of the device is almost twice reduced. This means that web pages, data processing and other actions are much slower, although for most users it will only be noticeable in more intensive use. If you notice that your iPhone is working slower after activating low power mode, this is not a problem - just that's the energy conservation feature. It allows you to continue the smartphone in low battery, but due to some speed loss.

Enable or disable this mode is very simple: Open the settings on your iPhone. Go to the battery section. Find and activate/deactivate the low power mode.

Low energy mode is not a function that needs to be used constantly. It is useful when the smartphone battery is at the boundary of the discharge, and you need to continue working as much as possible without recharging. For normal use, you can easily do without this function.
