The Ukrainian National Football Team is preparing for a historical moment, because for the first time in its history it will hold a match in Levercusen, Germany. The assembly of the team on the field of Bayarena stadium is scheduled for November 20, starting at 21:45.
Although it will be nominally a home match for Ukraine, it will take place outside the country in our western neighbor. A sports facility, which contains 30 210 spectators, is a home arena of the Bayer club, and the stadium itself was built in 1958, with the last important reconstruction in 2009.
This match will be the culmination of the group stage of selection for Euro-2024 for the national team of Ukraine. The rivals of Ukrainians will be a strong national team of Italy. We hope that this historical event will not only bring football emotions, but also help to grow the popularity of Ukrainian football in Europe and all over the world.
