Israel and Iran in a state of combat readiness after night attacks

On the night of June 18, the situation in the Middle East sharply aggravated: Iran carried out a massive rocket firing of the territory of Israel, and in response, the Israeli military took action. Both sides report explosions, activation of air defense systems and infrastructure damage.

According to Israeli media and reports on social networks, Iran launched two waves of missiles towards Israel. The first wave consisted of about 15 rockets, the second of about 10. As a result of one of the blows, a fire on the parking lot in Central Israel arose. Air alarm signals were heard throughout the country, a series of explosions were recorded.

In response, Israel warned of its intention to strike objects in the 18th district of Tehran. The statement was published in Persian, and was extended by the Israeli Defense Army (Tahal). The residents of the district were called upon to be evacuated because, according to the Israelites, military infrastructure is located in the area.

The 18th Tehran district is a densely populated territory in the southwest of the Iranian capital, near the Airport of Mehrabad and Shakhid Sattari Aviation University. More than 420 thousand people live in the area. The call for evacuation from this area has caused resonance on social networks, and local sources report the work of air defense and a series of explosions, although official details on the Iranian side have not been made public.

Against the background of exchanges, both countries remain in a state of combat readiness. The international community monitors the development of events, fearing further escalation of the conflict.
