The new consideration of the negotiations on the release of hostages held by Hamas was confirmed after the meeting of the Head of the Israeli Intelligence Mossad David Barnea with Prime Minister Qatar Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Tani. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at a press conference that he was considering a war in gas, which he considers as a matter of survival, and noted that he had a mission of demilitarization and control of Gaza by the Israeli security forces.
Previous negotiations in November led to a partial release of hostages, and Netanyhah promised to continue the pressure on Hamas. He expressed his determination to destroy this group, controlling the Gaza Sector. It is noteworthy that the instructions for the winners are based on high military pressure, which, according to Netanyhah, is an integral part of the strategy.
The Prime Minister evaded the details of the meeting, but confirmed that he had provided instructions to the team. He also made serious remarks to Qatar, hinting at his connections with Hamas and Iran, which is a sworn enemy of Israel. Hamas, in turn, states that he will not start negotiating on the exchange of prisoners until aggression against the Palestinian people continues.
