Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyaga announced the beginning of the large-scale military operation "Iron Wall" in Jenini on the western bank of the Jordan River. The operation is aimed at combating terrorist groups in the region.
"This is another step towards achieving our goal - to strengthen the safety in Judea and Samaria. We act methodically and decisively against the Iranian axis, wherever it has sent its weapon - to Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Jews or Samaria," Netanyha said in his address.
The Israeli Defense Army (Tsagal), the Israeli Security Service (Shabak) and Border Police launched a joint operation aimed at erading the terrorist centers in Genini. According to The Times of Israel, the actions of Israeli security forces can take several days.
Before surgery in the region, riots were recorded in Jinsafut and al-Funduk settlements, during which two Israelis were injured. These incidents have become a catalyst for the decisive action of Israeli authorities.
